Nobody Who?
My passion is to show folks that everything is energy. You are energy--your body, your thoughts--everything around you is energy. Of course money is energy also--a different form of energy. In learning that everything is energy, we must come to see that in our relationship to any energy we are using is either Power or force. To illuminate the difference betwee Power and force, I have a true story for you: Justin is 39.

Putting Your Money in Focus
I am not a great photographer. I am okay with that fact, knowing that I am good at many other things. You might not be a great photographer either, but I bet you know that you can't fix the focus of the picture after the picture is taken. You are that astute, right? I have one of those "point and shoot" jobbies. (That might not be the technical term for automatic camera, but I think it is close.) Okay, confession: I actually have two of them--um, make that three--because my pictures are so bad that my husband kept buying me new cameras, hoping that would fix the problem!

Would It Be Okay If You Stopped Worrying About Money?
I know that sounds like a strange question. However, we sometimes get in awful habits and the thoughts take over. If we are not vigilant, the worry thoughts think themselves—again and again. Are you thinking, "Well, who wouldn't like to stop worrying about money? Duh!" Is that thought followed up by, "But it is impossible—we have to worry about money." In my speaking and workshops, I am teaching folks about the three parts of Money IQ.

$885 Billion and Sustainable Prosperity
Think of a coin. It seems to have a paradoxical nature to it: two sides, either heads or tails—or it can be viewed as a circle, 360 degrees. What if we were to look at the economic situation, not from heads or tails, but from the circle perspective—a perspective that has no sides? The tenor of the economic discussion is "get me out of here." The economic situation is a mess—we do not like it and we want out. Apparently we are to believe the situation is like a coin—it only has two sides: heads = tax cuts or tails = massive spending.

Blackberry Pickin'
I had a wonderful Zen afte oon blackberry pickn' the other day. It was wonderful for two reasons, I have heavenly organic blackberries to make a wonderful cobbler, and it was a great reminder of the SOP (standard operating procedure) of the ego mind and traps we unwittingly step into. Because everything is energy, if we train our mind for openness, simple experiences can give us great insights. My venture gave me reminders of the two different states of being we operate in: Power or force.

Thanksgiving or Thanks-Receiving?
Remember the silly telephone game we all used to play: secretly pass a phrase around a circle by whispering into the ear next to you and see if it came around correctly? I don't know about you, but I never heard a phrase survive that gauntlet. The more members of the circle, the more the phrase was butchered. Remember when the last person in the circle said the phrase out loud and everyone gasped, "WHHHAAATTT?" shocked, amazed and confounded at what "came out" of the circle? In many respects our own history, as well as our collective history is the same. We remember what we want to.

Do You Have Ghosts in Your Money House?
Tension in relationship is nothing new. Tension or conflict over money is not new either. Many, if not most adults avoid “money” conversations. Just like other key issues (sex, religion and child rearing) that seem so sensitive, deep and inexpressible, lack of money communication acts like a tou iquet to the life’s blood of relationship. Of course money is inanimate, yet it is energy. This energy is animated by thoughts, beliefs and attitudes. Mostly it is animated by thoughts, beliefs and attitudes from the past.
