Hello - I'm Dr. Kathy Marshack. I am a licensed psychologist and family/business coach with over thirty years of experience. I utilize Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Thought Field Therapy regularly in my clinical work.

While my heart is most rewarded as a clinician, I am also a published author, columnist, and international speaker. I recognize that through my books, columns and speaking engagements, I can assist more people to overcome their everyday struggles and lead fulfilling lives.

I have received on-going national media for my work with entrepreneurial couples. This led me to publish a book on the subject ENTREPRENEURIAL COUPLES: Making It Work at Work and at Home. I have spent years researching this lifestyle and realize that it comes with many challenges. I offer practical suggestions and give advice on how to maintain a meaningful entrepreneurial life.

My second book, Life with a Partner or Spouse with Asperger Syndrome: Going Over the Edge? Practical Steps to Saving You and Your Relationship, is an account of those who live with a family member who is diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. It examines the emotional, mental, and psychological impact of intimate relationships with people who have Asperger Syndrome. It is my hope that through the stories of others, readers can more clearly look at their own situations and, based on the ideas in this book, take the necessary steps to live happier, more full-filled lives.

Someone with Asperger Syndrome (AS) is characterized by their lack of communication skills, social skills and reciprocity of feelings. A person with AS, also known as an Aspie, knows what they think and feel but are often unaware of what others think or feel. With a deficiency in these critical areas, some have wondered how someone with Asperger's develops an intimate relationship or even gets married.
