Keith has spent his career leading teams and organizations and helping companies and individuals develop leadership skills to drive growth. He spent the first 20 years of his career working for major consulting firms.
As a partner with Accenture, Ernst & Young, and CSC Consulting, Keith lead his clients and his team through the development of enterprise changing enterprise systems. His clients included Shell Canada, Mitchell Energy, Canterra Petroleum, British Gas, Amoco, Bechtel, BP, and Enron. As vice president of professional services for a division of Halliburton, Keith lead the growth and development of a 360 person professional services organization.
Since forming his own company in 2001, Keith has worked with large and small companies to assist them in developing the skills necessary to meet their goals. His clients have included: Xerox Global Services, AVAYA, Compaq, Petris Technologies, EC Power, El Paso Gas, Haddassah, and Sunguard Consulting.

I recently visited an organization that was suffering from what I call “too many sheep”. My first exposure to this organization of financial planners was at a seminar presenting their services to prospective clients. The seminar began with a brief introduction by one of the representatives, and then the office manager proceeded to deliver the rest of the material about the company and it’s services.

Too Many Leaders?
In the past several years, I have run across a number of companies who struggle with the concept of leadership and leadership development. In fact, most people do not understand leadership. The typical response I receive when I mention leadership development is, “What are we going to do with all those leaders once we have developed them?” This is an interesting comment given that I have never run across a company who suffers from too many leaders. Most organizations struggle because they have too few leaders, particularly in times of change, growth or crisis.
