I'm a molecular biologist by training (a ten year veteral of the biotech industry) and I am a wellness warrior by destiny.
My passion is helping you find your best personal health. It's like gorilla warfare; you don't always know who your enemies are. From the drug store aisles to the grocery store check out line, it can get pretty confusing. I'm here to guide you through the front lines of conventional health advice to find real lasting wellness.
So who am I? I'm just some chick who is totally obsessed with finding the best natural ways to stay and be healthy. I'm spreading the word about healthy food and smart supplements. I love farmers' markets, grass-red meat and butter. And yes, I eat tons of veggies too. My advice may be a little unconventional, but it is tried and true and it all begins with diet. I am Fearlessly Nourished? Are you?

Coconut Oil: Vilified and Vindicated
Coconut Oil is the kind of food that, if it were a person, would be too pretty, too smart and too nice. It’s just so good that all the other foods are jealous. Date incarcerated: The vegetable oil industry and followers of a theory called The Lipid Hypothesis rounded up all natural saturated fats, butter, lard, coconut oil and palm oil, locked ‘em up and threw away the key somewhere in the early 1950’s. That’s too bad because coconut oil is quite honestly the most enchanting food you’ll ever meet!

Living In A Perpetual Vitamin D Winter
I live in Pacifica,CA. This means the winter coat never makes its way to the back of the closet. While my personal thermometer is content living in “Fog City”, my blood isn’t. Actually, it’s my blood vitami D level that is suffering. I’m not blaming it on my beloved home town, most Americans are vitami D deficient…VERY deficient.
