Laura Oglesby

Laura Oglesby currently practices with ProActive Acupuncture: Center for Asian Healing Arts in Midtown Sacramento where she enjoys treating a wide variety of health conditions, educating and spreading wellness to the community!

Laura received a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Southwest Acupuncture College in New Mexico with special emphasis on gynecology and obstetrics. Having additional background in Western Medicine from her undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, she began practicing acupuncture at the Integrative Medicine Center in Fairhope, Alabama. She then advanced to director for the Women’s Health and Infertility Department. Once Laura became licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine by the state Califo ia, she headed west to experience Califo ia and the great outdoors of North Lake Tahoe and the Sacramento River valley. Laura continues to pursue the advancement of Women’s Health acupuncture and has enjoyed working with local doctors to provide an integrative approach for female health conce s.
