In the nineties I was conce ed about genetically engineered foods. Most of my friend thought I was crazy or they assumed the government wouldn't allow anything bad in their food. I knew they wouldn't read a non fiction book on this topic. In order to reach them and others like them, I decided to write a mystery novel Food To Die For about the dangers of genetically engineered foods. I hoped a suspense novel would keep their interest and at the same time educate them on the dangers of GMO foods.

The Dangers of Genetically Modified Food
Did you know that over seventy percent of all processed foods on supermarket shelves contain at least one genetically engineered ingredient? Should you care? The answer is yes, you should care. These ingredients are untested and dangerous. Food crops are engineered to resist potent pesticides and herbicides. The herbicides are taken up by the plants. And when we eat the plants, we eat the pesticides and herbicides. If these pesticides can kill insects and the herbicides can kill weeds they can certainly affect us.
