Lisa Sarasohn, owner/principal of Hire Order, Inc., is a Certified Professional Organizer in the Boulder/Denver area. Lisa is a member of the Inaugural Class of Certified Professional Organizers. CPO certification recognizes those professionals who have met specific minimum qualifications and proven through examination and client interaction to possess the body of knowledge and experience required for certification. The program recognizes industry standards, practices and ethics. Certification maximizes the value received from the services provided and products recommended by a CPO.
Lisa has served on the boards of two chapters of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) and actively participates in their continuing education programs and national conferences. She is a member of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization and has attended their conferences. Lisa graduated Magna Cum Laude from U.C. San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
In addition to hands-on organizing, Lisa has taught workshops and seminars on organizing in such places as Santa Monica College and the University of Judaism. In addition to her blog at endthemess.com, her writing has been published in newspapers, magazines, newsletters and on various websites, and she has been interviewed for many published articles.
Lisa decided to make organizing her vocation after losing four family members on different occasions. Her calm, leadership and logic during these times of crisis inspired her to help others. Lisa delights in seeing the tremendously positive impact that organizing has made on her clients. She says, "I feel like I'm a detective, therapist and archaeologist rolled into one. It is incredibly gratifying. I can see a shift in my clients by the end of our first session. Some of them start out looking so defeated, and when we’re done, they’re smiling and revitalized, even if they’re tired. The results are immediate and tangible, and the thanks and hugs are the best part of the job. I'm determined to help people reclaim control of their space and rediscover themselves in the process."
Lisa believes that organizing is a skill that anyone can learn if they’re
open to change.
