Liz Temple has been working in the British NHS as a community mental health nurse using a combination of conventional and alte ative approaches. As a qualified homeopath and certified ZPoint Process practitioner, she has been 'obsessively' crazy about new age and self help material. She uses an eclectic approach when dealing with patients and clients, and for her own personal development.
She loves the idea of having an internal 'toolbox' of techniques to use for self help to cope with whatever life throws at us. With this in mind, she has written a self help e book, 'You Can Pull Yourself Together-How to be Your Own Internal Therapist', available free on her website (www.stressalte atives.co.uk).
She is just really starting out with her intention to expand her influence and help to a wider audience. Her website, e book, course, recordings and articles are the beginning, but she is writing, making and updating self help recordings, mainly based on the ZPoint technique, all the time and hopes they will help her have another stream of income and reward.

Calming our Naughty Child Inside
Here's a different way to look at our stress. What if we could see it as the stressed naughty child inside of us that clambers for our attention? Long ago this child was born inside us, often as a result of a difficult event in our little susceptible young minds. We might have matured as adults, but some part of us is stuck in the past, creating that pattern of thoughts, emotional tension and behaviour.

How Not to Take Responsibility
I seen on TV the other day that there's an epidemic of not taking responsibility these days. It's only to be expected really when we are clueless about how to deal with difficulties in general when they come up, so we find some really inventive ways of running away from them.

How to Increase Your Emotional Pain and Keep it Alive!
Inadvertently, we do an amazing amount of things to keep our emotional pain alive. It’s not our fault, like some (including ourselves) may think. Most of us don’t have a deliberate self-destructive masochistic side to us! We just don’t realise what we’re doing, but we are making it worse by how ...

Favorite Quotes & Thoughts from Liz Temple
'My Philosophy' is that emotional pain, like physical pain should not be habitually avoided or suppressed, but faced and used as a 'mind pollution signal' to remind us to 'let go', and I recommend techniques to do this, including my favourite, ZPoint Process, which has a lot of similarities to EFT, and my own experimental version, that I've called 'intentional detachment practice'.
Quote from my e book:
'If we start to have an awareness of our 'mind pollution' signals as they come up, we can make a conscious decision on the spot to let go. This means simply releasing tension on the signal....What we are probably doing is replacing tension in that moment with a relaxation response.
Quote from my anger and frustration course:
'When we say,"They make me feel angry", we give away our power. No-one can make us feel anything for long if we let go when we start to feel bad.'
