“Success is the sum of small things repeated day in and day out.” Robert Collier
That quote sums up the philosophy of LT Thomas when it comes to his approach to fitness: “Whether your fitness goal is to gain strength, lose weight, or simply to feel better physically, it all comes down to working one day at a time and taking a big goal and breaking it down into small, manageable steps.”
A graduate of Salisbury University with a BS in Exercise Science and more than ten years of fitness training experience, LT has worked with everyone from high-profile athletes and physicians to those who want to make exercise and fitness part of their lifestyle. In addition, he is a certified NSPA Weight Management Specialist and a Fitness Boxing Specialist. As a former reservist in the Army, LT translates the fitness metrics and discipline into a program that anyone can benefit from.
Whether it’s one-on-one personal training or small groups who enjoy training together, LT believes in benchmarking before hopping on the weight bench. “It is so important to assess your fitness level at the beginning so we can create measurable goals together and track progress over time,” says LT. “I want everyone to train hard but train smart. You want to maximize the time you spend on your workouts so they are the most effective means to your goals.”
In addition to individual and group fitness training, LT offers classes which include Boxing and Bootcamp. He specializes in designing programs for:
Beginners
Partner Training
Weight loss & Tone
De-conditioned exercisers
Functional Training – sport- or activity-specific training
Strength Training
Body Building
LT is currently writing several books, one of which address parents and other adults as fitness and healthy living role models for children. He has written articles for several national magazines. He volunteers his time to mentor middle school students on the benefits of fitness and health for life.
As a motivational speaker, LT has enlightened audiences including church groups, employee wellness programs, schools, and wellness convention attendees. His fresh approach to fitness is suited to all ages and all levels of fitness.

Good Carbs VS Bad Carbs
There are four macronutrients. Macronutrient is a substance required in large amounts to sustain life and carbohydrates are one of them. Carbohydrates should make up 55-65% of your diet. Some people seem to think that all carbohydrates are bad. Carbohydrates are definitely a must in your diet. These are your body's primary source of energy. Carbohydrates include sugars and starches. The problem is that the body is not very efficient at storing carbohydrates. For this reason, carbohydrates are needed in relatively larger amounts than fats and proteins.
