Margery Runyan

Dr. Mercy was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio as an identical twin and summered with her family including two younger sisters on Lake Huron in Ontario. Her character was formed as a seagull and a minnow. She was 'twin twinnie sis sister' never Margery. Five years ago she became Mercy. Her twin sister was killed in the crash of a small plane at 39. Dr. Mercy completed two masters at Rutgers University - Masters in Social Work and Masters in Public Administration - while working 25 years for the State of New Jersey. She began as a child abuse caseworker in Hudson County and eventually became the Commissioner's representative to Hudson and Bergen Counties, practicing all five social work methods.

She retired in 2000 and built the dream house in Durango, Colorado with her beloved husband Hank Walker. She taught social work at New Mexico Highlands University and sociology/human services at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico. In 2005 she relocated to Florida for the summers and began her PhD in Human Services.

She now has private practices of psychotherapy in CO, FL, and NM, focusing on twins and persons with trauma, depression, anxiety, and addiction. She is licensed as a clinical social worker and addiction professional in FL and NM. She is also a radio show hostess on World Talk Radio with her show Twin Talk broadcast world wide at 11am ET Fridays. Her guests are twins and twin experts. Dr. Mercy also practices deep meditation and hypnosis.
