Marion Franklin

Marion Franklin, one of only 450 Master Certified Coaches in the nation, founded and developed Life Coaching Group in 1996, an organization that trains, mentors,and coaches individuals and groups. She received her Professional CertifiedCoach (PCC) designation in 1998 and her Master Certified Coach (MCC) credentialin 2006. Marion developed and is currently teaching her unique LaserCoaching program—a 12-week intensive course emphasizing masterful coaching skills. The program has been awarded the distinguished Continuing Coach Education Provider designation by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She facilitatesan ongoing Mentor Practicum, one of the few supervision groups forcoaches. Prior to developing her own program, she created and taught a series of “Getting Started" classes for new coaches in a renowned international coaching school.

Executivesfrom the following corporations have sought Marion's coaching expertise: Abbott Laboratories, Exxon-Mobil, Reader’s Digest, Toys "R" Us,Pepsico, AT&T, Prudential, JP Morgan Chase, Kraft Foods,Maryknoll Brothers and Sisters, and the US Tennis Association. She coaches executives as well as entrepreneurs to hone their leadership qualities,enhance communication skills, and strengthen interpersonal relations and is in demand for her laser approach and direct style of coaching.

Marion is the co-author of 7 Simple Secretsto Successful Workshops and provides consulting services for the design and delivery of workshop presentations on a global basis. She has been attending the School of Practical Philosophy that emphasizes putting philosophical principles into practical terms.

Prior to founding her own company, Marion worked at Regeneron (a biotechnologycompany) where she gained experience as a collaborations coordinator with scientists worldwide. She co-founded a healthcare publishing and market research company after teaching High School Business Education for several years. Marion has been interviewed on television for her coaching expertise.She has been a featured guest speaker and presenter at meetings and retreats throughout the northeast, is a recurring lecturer for an ongoing Women'sSeries, and has been cited in the journal News, the Westchester County Times, and The Wall StreetJou al.
