Mark Whalen is sixty-three years old, lives about fifty miles west of Las Vegas, NV, with his wife of twenty-seven years and their two Shih Tzus, Kahlua and Onyx.
He was a clinical hypnotherapist in the mid-seventies, also performing comedy-oriented "hypnosis shows" in nightclubs, on college campuses and other venues. He was a Charter Member of The American Hypnosis Association and member of the Hypnotists' Union Local 472. Mark no longer offers hypnosis sessions, or performs as a hypnotist publicly.
Mark smoked for sixteen years, but has been a true non-smoker for over thirty years now. He is the author and publisher of the internationally best-selling book, "How to Quit Smoking Without Willpower or Struggle", now being used in every state in the USA, and over fifty countries outside of it.
