Matthew was born in London and rasied in Toronto, Canada where he was a child actor in the popular 1960's televison programme 'Forest Rangers' until his return to the UK. He has been a practicing Hypnotherapist, NLP Trainer and Motivational Speaker for many years. He has a professional clinical practice in the Highlands of Scotland, Motivation Training, from where he runs courses in Accredited Diploma courses in Hypnotherapy, NLP and Coaching. He has professional qualifications in various fields from Finance to Sport, is a Motivational Speaker, Personal Team Coach and Stress Management Consultant. Matthew is a published author of various internet based articles and author of The Motivation Method series of Books and CDs.

Matthew is the founder of The Motivation Institute, a non-profit organisation providing a directory of well trained resourceful therapists and coaches who have been trained in NLP, Hypnotherapy and Coaching to the educational and ethical standards of Motivation Training www.motivationinstitute.org

Matthew also runs Personal Development Retreats in the Highlands of Scotland. He is a graduate coach of Authentic Happiness Coaching.
