MAX-MARC FOSSOUO

My belief in life is that people is everything. The relationship to the wrong people will help you experience what the worst case scenario would look like. The right people will definitely help you grow. If you want to transform your life, you need the help of others. In fact, in relationship, do not ask what someone can do for you but what you can do for the person. It's not how you can be served, but how you can serve. Not what you can benefit, but what they can benefit from you. If you constantly work on finding ways to help others, not only your personal and professional network will grow, but also your relationship with each person will be healthier. This is not just relationship, it's leadership.

Promoted Organizational Leader the year after, Max-Marc's mission became to hire, train, and coach a sales organization that he would once in the US for the sales of educational materials to families. Thanks to his persistence, his commitment to deliver a good work, the outstanding relationship he created and maintained with the top executives of the company, Max-Marc was recommended to work in the sales training division of the Southweste Company called Southweste Consulting as a Corporate Sales Trainer.

Hello friends, bloggers, facebookers, twitters…no matter how you came across this article, I am glad you made it here and hope that you will share the post because RELATIONSHIP MATTERS. Last night I was inspired enough to write this quote I came up with on my facebook page: “In relationship, do not ask what someone can do for you, but what you can do for the person. Names! Names! Names! Names are important. Whether for you personal, social, or professional life, names get you in. I first learned about the importance of names back in 2004 when I first started working with the Southweste Company as an independent sales dealer. Our sales talk was sewed around dropping names that our prospects could connect to. Today, when I propose my services as Relationship Strategist for individuals and corporates, when I meet with friends and make new friends, when I ask for business referrals, I can still notice how important names are.

If you know me, then you will know one of my irrefutable truth: once you’ve been introduced to me then you will remember me forever. I start noticing that strength of mine when I was still in college and was partying a lot. For some reason, at any party, or event that I was attending, if there was one person that I’ve been introduced to, then that person would come with a big smile and would give me a charming friendly hug with “MAX-MARC” highly pronounced and a distinguished smiley face.

Networking is great, fun, and yet not easy. Before I study Relationships and the pillars of professional networking, I used to think that networking with people was just about going to events and exchanging business cards with all people we meet there. However somehow, I found out that from the tens of people I gave my business card to, only two or three got back to me and did want to follow up do business with me. So I decided to dig into what made those two or three people to get back to me that I didn’t do with the rest of the people.

If you want to create a really dynamite network, you have to really follow through when you say, “I’d like to get to know you.” From my previous post (Make Yourself Unforgettable) I’ve shared the idea stating that each person we meet up with or get introduce to represent a doorway to opportunity. However, enjoying the benefits of being connected to someone has some requirements. You need to be intimate. The more intimate the better the chances to receive what you ask.

The Southweste top producer Dustin Hillis as another refraiming saying SW SW SW N meaning: Some Will, Some Won't, So What? NEXT.

Success doesn’t just happen. It’s envisioned, it’s prepared, it’s measured, and it’s managed. On this post I share two important points you need to be aware of in order to succeed. I was just watching the game 7 of the NBA final 2010 and Kobe Bryant the MVP was saying at the interview on ESPN that the reason behind his average performance during the first period is due to the over pressure he puts on himself. He wanted to win so bad that he was about to miss it. What kind of emotions we need to watch and how to deal with each one?

In the past, to succeed in business, salespeople had to work 80% of their time prospecting new market and only 20% of their time working on their relationship management. Today, it’s all different. To succeed in business, to create more life opportunities, you need to work mainly at creating, developing, and managing your relationships. Forget about the vendor etiquette you once heard it’s good to post on the front head, now, in today competitive market, you have to be the partner, the friend.
