Founder & Director of the International Awareness Academy, Melinda Rodriguez is an expert Intuitive & Personal Development Coach and has taught extensively in this field nationwide, internationally and locally at Califo ia State University , Fullerton. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher and Certified Spiritual Counselor through the American Board of Hypnotherapy.

Her mission is to help humanity awaken and embrace their authentic, intuitive self. Through teaching and leading motivational events throughout the country, Melinda has helped thousands of people discover their inner wisdom with more than 12 years professional experience and a lifetime of intuitive awareness exploration. Melinda enjoys working one-on-one with clients as well as leading seminars and retreats and is passionate about facilitating others to tap into their own unique intuitive style and apply it to everyday life.

In 2000, after constant requests and a high demand for Intuitive development training, Melinda began teaching the acclaimed Certified Spiritual Healing Practitioner Course. The success and popularity of this life-changing course, and requests from people all over the globe to participate led her to launch the distant study format which is now available. Furthermore, the evolution of her own private practice prompted Melinda to teach the coaching method that she developed over the years, yielding extraordinary results. The Certified Life Awareness Coach program is also now available through distant study along with the Shamanic Therapy Practitioner course which is rapidly growing in popularity.

Melinda is also a passionate percussionist & Professional Rhythm Event Facilitator using motivational drumming to energize and encourage people to achieve their highest possible potential. With an eclectic background & education in African, Native American, Middle Eastern & Latin percussion, Melinda has participated in hundreds of motivational drumming events with an empowering style that enables people to feel inspired and uplifted.

Combining her diverse percussive talents and extensive background in motivational & developmental presentations, Melinda has traveled extensively to share this ancient tool with modern audiences everywhere. She has had the great fortune of sharing the stage with Grammy award winning musicians and Master African Drummers as she performs for high profile corporate and private clients.
