Mike Ashby

Dr Mike Ashby is Managing Director of National Business Coaching Ltd, based in Auckland, New Zealand. Since 2003 Mike has helped hundreds of business owners move their lives and businessto the next level.

Dr Mike (as members of his programme call him) launched BizTime, an online development program for owners of small businesses. Launched in May 2009, it is based on his highly successful real-time program and is designed for people who don't have the time or the money for coaching.

Dr Mike is enormously experienced. Before 2003 he was Chief Operating Officer at Southern Cross Healthcare, a $400M health insurer, where he led the company from a loss of$42M to a profit of $30M in two years.

Dr Mike joined Southern Cross from Ernst & Young Consulting. He was a partner in the Wellington office, leading the national Strategy and Transformation team.

He is one of New Zealand’s top advisers to small business owners, and is a regular contributor to Westpac’s Good Business magazine, where his articles are consistently rated most interesting and most valuable. Dr Mike stands out as a coach because of his credibility, authenticity and intellect.

He is an experienced, entertainingand stimulating speaker. He’s spoken at over 150 seminars for business owners and people in business, inspiring audiences around the country with his insights and challenging thinking.
