Mike McCall is former naval officer, financial advisor, agronomist, golf club general manager, school baord member and founder of How To Live A Good Life and Virtuous Children. He has lived on the east and west coasts and many places in between along with two years in Japan while serving in the U.S. Navy. As a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, Mike was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CV-62) during operatio Desert Shield and Desert Storm in the 1990’s.

Mike’s diverse background has lead to many life experiences and in recent years he has implemented a system of principled planning related to living a good life.

Do you find it challenging to motivate your children to accomplish tasks, chores, homework or any other request or expectation? Trust me you are not alone. Until you have succeeded in imparting these household virtues onto your children so that they become intrinsic, which may take a very long time; you might consider utilizing some type of reward system. There have been many versions of reward systems throughout the years all with varying degrees of success.
