Many of you may be wondering where I’ve been. In September, I decided to leave David Neagle’s office and fly solo. I adore David Neagle (and will forever feel he has made one the largest impacts on my life), but God was nudging me and Irncouldn’t be happier…
I believe good things happen to people who do the right thing. What better way to launch my solo business career than to start it off by giving? Seriously, there isn’t a better way.
So, here goes….(drum roll with some spunk please)
Yes, it’s that time of year again…I recently registered tornwalk with my little sister, and it’s time to start fundraising. Last year, I more than doubled my goal, becoming Sedgwick County’s Top March of Dimes Walker by raising more money than anyone else in my community.
Each and every one of you who donated made it possible for me to reach my goal. A very special thanks to David Neagle (my fav!), Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero and Jayne Moffit for being my biggest contributors.

On April 18th, 2009, I will once again put on my jogging shoes for Sedgwick County’s March of Dimes walk, and start an emotional journey in honor of the two-year anniversary of my late nephew Babyr James. This year I’m raising $2500 to participate in the event.
Every 4 1/2 minutes a baby is born with a birth defect inrnthe United States. Did you know that birth defects account for about one in five infant deaths in the United States?
That is why I am walking this year…
I am walking to support the birth of healthy babies. I’mrnwalking to take prevent families from going through the grief ofrnburying an infant child. I’m walking to make a difference in the world. I’m walking to raise awareness. I’m walking so I can hear the giggles of an infant in the grocery store. I’m walking so another baby is bo free of disease and defects. I’m walking so that moms and dads can watch their watch their children grow up.
