Monika Pia:

Monika has always lived in the world of books, leading her to become the writer, illustrator and story-teller that she is today. Monika’s father started telling her stories at bedtime when she was a small child and it wasn’t long until she too began to invent stories of her own. Monika continues this family tradition with her small son.

Growing up in Europe, Monika was surrounded by castles and magical old towns. She was fascinated with how people lived in those walled cities. This interest evolved into her studying art, and later, psychology, all of which she weaves into her stories.
Monika has extensive experience working with groups of children, gained at the Mount Carmel Guild Therapeutic Nursery in Newark, New Jersey, where she captured children’s attention and imagination with special stories chosen just for them.

Educated in Fine Arts in Warsaw, Monika has a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the City University of New York.

in 2015, she graduated from New York Film Academy One Year Conservatory program in Psychology.
