As a woman of a certain age who has had many life experiences and brought up 5 addult children I feel I have a lot of opinions on life and family. I also have 8 grandchildren and even a great granddaughter. Life has dealt us some low blows but with my ways of thinking I have survived them all reasonably unscathed. I enjoy writing articles and try to mix between expert advice about my work but also some lighter subjects and hope all done with a bit of humour. I hope you enjoy what I have to say.
I work full time as The Uk Sales and Marketing Manager for The Hunter Fan Company and while doing this I have learnt so many new skills and have grown so much with all my new knowledge and skills that I have been taught while at this company. I love writing my articles and have done and published over 100 of them now.
I have learnt many life lessons in my many years and self improvement and spiritual awareness are a major part of my life. I live and work in Basingstoke, Hampshire

Through many years of experience and learning I have found there are different types and levels of friendships and relationships. I want to discuss this in my article and see if anyone agrees. What Do I Want For Xmas?
Most people would say there is nothing they can't live without apart from food, water and shelter. I found something special that I don't want to live without and I don't care if it is a luxury. I want one for Xmas! As I have become older I have not asked for much from anyone, in actual fact a lot less than when I was younger. The benefit of having 5 children that are all adults is that three times a year they ask me "What do you want?" Those times are simply Mother's Day, my birthday and Xmas but it gets harder and harder each time to make suggestions to be honest.

My Ways of Stress Control!
I need to say straight off the bat stress is a killer and I don't intend to be a victim anytime soon! I am a sixty years old, hard working single mum of five adult children, eight grandchildren plus a great granddaughter. I still have two sons at home all of which means I do know and understand stress. I have been widowed,divorced and have spent many years stressed out while struggling so I believe I know what stress is.

Every day is a challenge for me. If it isn't me getting older or greyer it is health wise. I am not happy being a forty year old in a sixty year old body. If You Are Happy and Content With Your Life You Are Rich!
People are always complaining about one thing or another and it does annoy me a lot. I have had hard times in my sixty years but there is no point moaning about it, is there? No there isn't! People in general are never happy because there is always something that affects them be it the weather, finances, their families or work. No one will ever be completely happy unless they put out positive energy. It works for me as I know that everything that was negative in my life happened for a reason.

The Power of Recycling!
I feel proud and powerful when I recycle because I never paid attention years ago when I should have. My opinion has changed dramatically about recycling and the best way to save the planet. I now understand that if we had all done the right things back in the day then we would not have the pressure of it all now although it is much easier now everybody including authorities make it so. I don’t know if my efforts today help but I know I am trying and putting in the effort. To be fair we haven’t got too much choice anyway with all the different bins for separating our rubbish.

How I Feel About Recycling My Life!

How Can You Ever Trust Again Once You Have Been Deceived?
There are many people we trust in life but once that trust is broken how can we trust again? To be honest I am not sure we can but in different types of relationships there are different levels of trust. If a partner lies to you and you find out how do we deal with that? If adultery is the trust breaker how do we get beyond that? If a close friend betrays a confidence can we overlook it? If one of your children deceives you that is one we can get over but if they steal from you then that is completely different yet again.

Yes Life Is Too Short!
Is life too short was my original question and fifty years ago I would have said yes but not anymore. Over the years lots has changed like the environment we live in, food, quality of life, and all the new technology. Fifty years ago the average life span was probably sixty to seventy years old I would say and now we are all living so much longer often into our nineties or more in some cases.r

Does the Universe Listen To Us?
Many years ago when I was young I had no faith in anything or anyone because I felt that what life was throwing at me was not deserved. As I have become more understanding with age I understand that everything happens for a reason. My friends laugh at me because no matter what happens I throw out my platitudes. I am known as the "Everything happens for a reason" woman. I really believe that it is true and we are meant to learn from every situation that presents itself to us.
