I'm going to be honest, I thought it was those letters that gave me credibility.
While I earned those letters, my mentor was right. Those letters don't represent who I am and they're only a small part of my credibility. It's the many fires of status quo that I've walked through. The fires that ultimately lead me to my WHY (my values, the things that make me, me) and that support me in supporting you.
Fires like...
... settling for being in some stifling and even unhealthy relationships,
... finding and staying in some careers that weren't me,
...showing up small and feeling not good enough,
...needing others' approval and caring what they thought about me
...people pleasing at the cost of my own well-being
..to name but a few!
In short, I was trying desperately to fit into places that weren't me because I was afraid of standing out.
That was then...and this is now. Now I know without a shadow a doubt I wasn't meant to fit in, but I was meant to stand out and helps others do the same. And as a result of my journey through those fires and my quest to stop being a part of the status quo I've come to realize one important thing....
Every single one of us has the ability to get unstuck from the rut of status quo and it all begins with our WHY!

Be your own cake
"All the cool stuff you need to feel good about who you are rests inside of you. Time to be your own cake so that someone else's kind words are the icing." - Heart Messages We all have the amazing capacity to increase our own self worth or self-esteem, to get to a place where we are able to stand up right on our own two feet emotionally. Knowing that and actually feeling worthy or good about ourselves is a whole different kettle of fish.

This is a discussion and topic that has been coming up a lot lately…at least it seems that way anyway. So what’s the difference between an intention and a goal? Aren’t they one in the same? Not really, but they are related and intertwined with one another. I like to think of an intention as the ...

Stepping In Your Greatness
I was recently asked how I define greatness and for me it has always been a feeling or a sense of empowerment and peace. To respond or to react, that's the question
Think about the last time you were involved in a discussion or argument where you reacted. How did you show up in that exchange? Prickly? Angry? Defensive? Powerless? Personally, when I am being reactive I become susceptible to all sorts of negativity.

Does This ‘But’ Make My Excuses Look Big?
Excuses, we’ve all made them. I’d be a liar if I said that I never made an excuse to try and get out of doing something. Oh, not to mention the endless excuses I’ve made for my food choices over the years or some of my less than desirable decisions, particularly when it came to relationships. And yes, I’ve even made excuses for a loved one's behavior. Excuses are often fear-based barriers. They're used to defend or justify a behavior or even a non-action.

How to get started
"Sometimes life is like a coloring book. It gives you certain situations that are already outlined, but you get to decide the details and the colors to use."
When asked the question, "What do you do?" it's not uncommon for me to share any of the following, as they all describe what I do to a tee. You could say I'm...
- A walking crowbar. I enjoy helping others get unstuck when life or career potentials feel at a standstill or a never-ending circle.
- A personal and business intuitive. Sometimes we just need a little extra guidance or confirmation that the direction we are heading in is the right one. I truly enjoy using my intuitive gifts to support my clients in gaining that guidance and direction.
- A cutter to the chase. There are times when we just need someone to call it like they see it and I do. From those observations clients are able to heighten their own awareness and end old patterns that no longer work.
- A talking compass. It's awesome to serve as a collaborative partner in creating road maps to guide clients in accomplishing a goal, achieving a dream, or recreating a better way of living.
- A mentor coach. There is nothing more fun than mentoring other amazing coaches on their journey in developing their practice, strengthening their coaching skills, obtaining certification, as well as sharing the passion for coaching.
- A passion purveyor. Life is meant to be lived passionately; I love working with my clients in unearthing what ignites a fire for them by getting to the heart of "who" they are.
- A change agent. Albert Einstein has a famous quote, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." As a change agent it's my job to support all my clients in finding different, creative strategies for achieving different and powerful results.
- An accountability partner. One of the important aspects of coaching is having someone who wants more for you then maybe you want for yourself. That's me! Not only do I want more for my clients, but I lovingly hold them accountable for their goals and intentions set.
- A mover and shaker maker. When confidence and energy levels run low it is hard to be our best and do our best. As a mover and shaker maker it is my goal to encourage and support clients in finding their energy, increasing their confidence level, and seeing the truest potentials and opportunities available to them.
- An internal beauty drill sergeant. We all know that what's on the inside radiates outward. I love, love, love creating the safe environment where clients are able to discover and fine tune their own inner gorgeousness.
- A business development strategizer. I love helping business owners and executives develop their vision, create do-able action items, and achieve business success. As someone who has started three successful companies of her own, it's awesome to be able to serve as that collaborative resource.
Now for the why...
I love being a conduit and champion of positive energy producing change at the heart and soul level. I love supporting those who are ready to make those positive changes, who want to see things from a different perspective, and are willing to create a deeper, sustainable connection to their own heart and soul....to create what they want in their personal and professional lives.
While I know what it feels like to hit rock bottom because I have, I also know that we don't have to stay there. I understand what low self-esteem, self doubt, and fear can do, because I have gone head-to-head with self-deprecating thoughts and the feeling of not being good enough. In spite of those fears, doubts, and negative thoughts I truly believe that we all have the capability to create a life of our own design.
