Phyllis Reid

Phyllis Reid is the founder of Philmar Foundation for Purposeful Living; an organization committed to “Freeing the Human Soul, to soar onward in the Progressive Movement of life," and President & CEO of Transformers International Inc., which is a not-for-profit Youth Development Agency rnfocusing rno Empowerment, Mentorship rnand Trauma Resolution rnfor rnchildren rnages 7-18.

She is a Metaphysical/Truth practitioner for over thirty years. She holds a Master's degree as a Clinical Social Worker and degrees in Psychology and Behavioral Sciences. She is a practicing Psychotherapist and Trauma Resolution Specialist. Phyllis is the Publisher of “Credo for Riches and Honor, I am God’s Power Outlet” and “The Climb to Success” inspirational CD. She has worked on stage and film and is a dynamic inspirational “Heart Talker.” Phyllis truly believes that the “Good Life is the God Life” and is the answer to overcome the hectic hustle and bustle of today’s driven lifestyle.

Since 1988 she has presented workshops and made guest appearances at several churches and religious organizations. She studied extensively through her affiliated Unity School of Christianity, as well as through the works of Emerson, Ernest Holmes, Emma Curtis Hopkins, Emmet Fox, Norman Vincent Peale, Joel Goldsmith and countless others. She has studied most of the major religions of the world.

Phyllis is an honor graduate and Kellogg's Fellow from Miami Dade - Wolfson College. She holds a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from Barry University, Miami. She worked as a Psychotherapist and Trauma Resolution Counselor with adults and children for over 8-years, serving at-risk children within the inner city schools of Miami and their families.
