The practical advantages of creativity as a skill in business, careers, and life
We have this idea in our minds that only the select few among us are "creative" enough to develop meaningful and interesting ideas. We like to say things like "there are right-brain thinkers, and there are left-brain thinkers" that suggest creativity is relegated to one class of people, while logic is relegated to the other. I hear it all of the time from people in my accounting classes: "I don't have a creative bone in my body. I'm a lot more of a logical thinker, and that's why accounting is a good choice for me."

Financial independence, and the mindset to make it happen
Before I hop into this article, I think I should clarify something: What does financial independence mean to you? In a sense, it's sort of a "buzz word" that bankers and financial planners endeavoring to earn commissions off of your investments throw around, as if working with them is your best shot at achieving it. Many people would say, "well RC, duh, it means 'being able to live without needing to work, and still pay for what you want'". I don't think that's all it means.
