My story is very unique. As a teen, my search for greatness led me down the wrong paths. I spent time traveling the country as a door to door salesman. I was the strung out kid knocking on your door offering magazine subscriptions. I also spent time selling a miracle citrus cleaner. I left my hometown of Toledo, Ohio hoping to escape from my problems. As I toured the country I found myself caught in the grips of drug and alcohol abuse. As time progressed, I knew that I needed change. I left the sales crew with no plan and spent a brief time sleeping on the streets of Washington D.C.. Over the next decade the search for greatness continued. I knew that I wanted to tell parts of my story in an effort to divert young people from the lifestyle I had chose. My desire grew into helping not only young people, but people of all ages. I had been raised in a Christian home. I knew that to change I would have to get back to my roots. I became an Ordained Reverend and around that same time I reconnected with an old friend with whom I now share my life with. I started living my life with purpose. I understood that the struggles in my past were due to the choices I made. I realized that the poor choices I made were not for me, but for the image of who I thought I was. I began to study ancient prophecies and the book of Revelation. I began to wonder why mankind concentrates on the end, when the end is out of our control. With the help of God I have taken my life experiences and created a philosophy for creating beginnings. The Bloomsayer philosophy places emphasis on living each day as your best day while making decisions to bolster your ability to create a wonderful life on earth.

Does society know whats best for you? We are provided a road map to achieve, according to society’s standards from a very young age. Since we are all unique, is the map provided truly best for all of us? We spend childhood soaking in all the information given, and are led to believe that we must stay on a certain course in order to lead a successful life. Get good grades, join social clubs, go to college, get a good job, find love and start a family. Does this road map sound familiar? How many of us can truly say that we knew exactly what we wanted out of life at 18 or even 21 years old?

Too often in life, people are told that failure is not an option. What if I told you that failure is not only an option, but a valuable tool in personal development. I like to compare life to a round of golf. Imagine the 18 holes as your life timeline. From the first tee, to the final putt on the 18th green, a round of golf can provide many different sets of challenges. Just as life does.

Abundance, empowerment, and happiness are often associated with positive thinking. To achieve any of these 3, positive thinking is merely half the battle. Success is not found in thought. Success is found in action. The Law of Attraction in specific, promotes the idea of obtaining anything you can dream of through thought. What is a thought. In short, a thought is a process of the mind. The mind creates an image, which in turn interprets the image into a thought. If a thought fails to come to life, is the thought anything but a dream?

The hourglass has stood up well against the sands of time. Dating from the 1300's, what is it that has led to the longevity of this piece of manufactured marvel? Is there anything to be learned from a gadget nearly 700 years old. Imagine the person who told his boss that they could keep track of time by watching sand fall through a crack. In today's world of advanced technology, the idea sounds a bit simplistic. I'm guessing that nobody reading this, has in their possession a battery powered watch ready to run for the next 1000 years. There is something to say about keeping life simple.

Favorite Quotes & Thoughts from Rev. Adam Brandt

When you think life is over, it is. Our life is a timeline of events differentiated by the experiences of each event. Life ends, "as We know it", often throughout our timeline. When these events happen a new beginning to life is underway. The control over these events, lie solely within ourselves. God gave us the power of free will, which allows us to create a new life each and every day.
