Rob Forbes

Rob Forbes is a World Citizen with a wide variety of interests and expertise. A wildlife ecologist by profession, he currently lives in Asia, where he is the director of a small humanitarian aid organisation that specialises in education projects, leadership training, family development, small business development and investment.

From his base in Mongolia, he travels to all parts of Asia and Central Asia, giving leadership training seminars, and family and marriage seminars, and consulting in the areas of leadership, education and invetsment.

The widespread poverty in Asia is one of his greatest conce s, and he sees education, especially that which fosters free thought and critical thinking from an early age, as a key to escaping the poverty trap. In addition, strong family structures are another vital factor. Small business development and investment are "fishing poles" which can be handed on to people in all levels of life in order to break poverty and dependency.

Rob does not see "dividing the pie equally" as the answer, but "making a bigger pie" as being a more effective long term strategy.
