Motivational Speaker Scott Greenberg has educated, entertained and inspired hundreds of thousands of people with his unique blend of keynote presentations, personal growth workshops and leadership programs. Scott’s uncanny ability to connect with all sorts of audiences and discuss universal messages about resilience, leadership and peak performance keep him in constant demand. Speaking to over 60,000 people a year across North America, Scott’s diverse client list ranges from Nike, Cargill International and the United Nations, to hundreds of associations and educational institutions.
Scott's history of creativity dates back to his days as a humor columnist for the UCLA Daily Bruin. While applying his writing skills at NYU graduate film school, he was forced to drop out after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Drawing upon his inner reserves of strength (inherited from his grandmother, a Schindler's List holocaust survivor) and his unfailing sense of humor, Scott beat the disease and began speaking professionally about human resilience. Rather than making films, he found greater joy in telling stories in person for the betterment of others. He was soon published in Chicken Soup for the College Soul and Burning Heart of Difference Makers, before writing his own motivational leadership books, including the Jump Start Leadership Workbooks (Volumes 1 & 2), and The Sandbags & The Fire: How Leaders Cut Loose Their Hang-ups & Soar to Success.
In addition to motivational keynotes, Scott has developed and/or facilitated peak performance programs for countless organizations. He leads conferences for the Kiwanis International Key Leader Program, and helped develop the Teen Leadership Camp program for Rotary International, who honored Scott by naming him a Paul Harris Fellow. He has been featured on national television and radio programs, and even co-hosted a reality TV show pilot for Fox Television.
Employing his leadership techniques in a real world setting, Scott also built and owns an “Edible Arrangements” franchise in West Hollywood, CA, managing ten employees while still on the road speaking. His store regularly ranks among the top five grossing franchises in Califo ia, with the highest marks for customer service.
Along the way, he's run a marathon, gotten married and become a father.
And while nothing can quite compare to his love of playing basketball with his son, motivational speaking comes a close second.
Scott's passion for providing nuts and bolts advice to audiences is apparent the second he picks up a microphone. Poignant stories, hilarious anecdotes combined with practical, substantive messages always leave crowds buzzing with excitement.

Nine Reasons To Embrace Failure

Overwhelmingly, my respondents chose “failure.” Like public speaking, failure is not inherently bad. We’re conditioned to avoid it, but there are plenty of reasons to change our perspective. Here are nine advantages to failing:

Cut Loose Your Sandbags
If you’re weighted down by fear, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by anger, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by hatred, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by stress, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by insecurity, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by greed, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by ambition, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by guilt, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by shame, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by self-doubt, cut it loose. If you’re weighted down by worry, cut it loose.r

Manage Your Time (Or It'll Manage You!)
Would you describe yourself as extremely busy? Do you often feel tired and stressed out? Sometimes our ambition is our worst enemy. Many of us with big goals try to do way too much. We spread ourselves a mile wide and an inch deep. We are involved in many different things, but aren't excelling at any one thing. Beware of mediocrity. Most of us want greatness. If that describes you, then you must prioritize your endeavors and adjust your schedule accordingly.
