I lived with chronic pain for 6 years. I turned to 'alte ative medicine' out of desperation; and it was simply life-transforming for me. I am not a proponent of energy medicine and energy psychology as an alte ative to traditional/modern medicine. I prefer to call it complementary medicine. Modern medicine saved my life. Complementary medicine saved my sanity, literally.

How to get started
My name is Shannon Nelson. I am a thirty-seven year old quadriplegic.
I was bedridden with chronic pain for several years. I have been prescribed a variety of pain medications and antidepressants, from which I received only partial, temporary relief. My doctor finally told me that there was nothing else that could be done for me, and that I should "learn how to live with pain". Out of desperation, a friend introduced me to energy medicine. Within a few weeks of applying some basic energy medicine and energy psychology techniques, I was no longer in pain, and I was able to get up in my wheelchair. I am currently on a healing journey. I no longer take any pain medications or antidepressants. I still have breakthrough pain every once in a while, but I am no longer bedridden or depressed. I now know that virtually all physical ailments are the result of unresolved emotional issues.
I created ww.hotchocolateforthespirit.com to reach out to people in similar conditions. I truly hope that through my little website, I will be able to help spread the word about the enormous benefits of energy medicine, energy psychology, and the power of forgiveness.
