I am registered on the International Bone Marrow Donor List. I'm sure you are shocked. I mean...someone who's been a Gestational Carrier wouldn't also want to give her bone marrow, would she? Honestly, I was on the bone marrow donor list looonnnnggggg before I was ever a surrogate or even entertained the thought of surrogacy.

The Third Party- Surrogacy and Postpartum Depression Intended Parents have several conce s before, during and after they have a baby through surrogacy. Some, but not all, have a great relationship with their surrogate and worry how she is going to react once the baby is born. Is she going to feel attached to the baby? Is she going to want to bond with the baby? Is she going to feel used and lonely once she is no longer pregnant? These are very valid conce s for the Intended Parents.

All Intended Parents dream of the best for their baby to be which is why they care so much about what their surrogate does during the pregnancy. What she eats, where she works, where she travels, what she's exposed to and how she is handling the pregnancy. It's natural to want to continue the trend and want the best nutrition for their baby. Can the Intended Mother can provide her own breast milk? Lets talk about inducing lactation: Lactation involves two hormones. Prolactin is considered the milk-making hormone while oxytocin is the hormone responsible for releasing breast milk.

Some are seeing this topic and saying...this is a no brainer...but there are others who have waived their rights to an atto ey and regretted it. (or not...let me hear from you if that is the case!) I hate to admit it but I waived the right to an atto ey for my second surrogacy. Yep, I thought that I knew it all...inside and out...after all I had been a surrogate before. I owned a Surrogacy Agency. I helped others discuss contract issues. Cocky. Now my situation wasn't that sticky. It could have been a lot worse!
