Sheri Abrams

Sheri R. Abrams, Atto ey at Law, has been practicing Social Security Disability Law, Estate Planning, Elder Law and Special Needs Planning for more than 24 years.

Sheri Abrams is rated “AV Preeminent”, the highest rating possible by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and was named a “Super Lawyer,” one of the “Best Lawyers in America,” one of Virginia’s “Top Rated Lawyers” and one of Virginia’s “Legal Elite.”

Sheri Abrams is active in many different professional organizations including the Virginia State Bar, District of Columbia Bar, the National Academy of Elder Law Atto eys (NAELA), the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Atto eys (VAELA), where she serves on the Board of Directors, the Academy of Special Needs Planners and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR), where she served on the Board of Directors from 2011 to 2013.
Sheri is a volunteer Atto ey for "Trial Lawyers Care" an organization that provides free legal help to those impacted by the 9/11 tragedy, the Legal Advisory Board of the National Capitol Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Virginia Hospital Center Legacy Committee, LINC (The Legal Information Network for Cancer), and the Virginia Bar Association's Disaster Legal Assistance Program.

Sheri Abrams graduated Cum Laude from Boston University’s School of Management with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and earned her Juris Doctor from George Washington University. She is admitted to all local courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
