Stephanie Heidema 's music background is extensive, delving deep into World Music Vocal traditions from Spain, India and the Middle East. Heidemann received her B.A. from Indiana University in Expressive Arts Therapy, and then became Certified in Massage Therapy and a Reiki Master from the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy. She studied Movement Therapy from Fanchon Shur, CMA, CMT, Laban Movement Analyst. Heidemann had the great opportunity to study extensively with Brenda Boozer (Metropolitan Opera Mezzo) for 3 years.
Stephanie currently teaches a Authentic Voicework workshop series as part of her "Sound & Silence" Concert and Workshop series. The focus of this workshop series is designed to quiet the assertively insecure ego, and allow for creative expression to emerge.
Stephanie is based in Sarasota, FL.
