Divorce - The Basics
Divorce is the process by which a marriage is legally ended. In Pennsylvania, a divorce can be granted by the court as either fault or no-fault. Most often divorces are granted as no-fault in cases where the parties have irreconcilable differences. This is the quickest and easiest way to get a divorce. Some divorces, however, are granted based on the "fault" of one of the parties. Fault grounds include malicious desertion, adultery, imprisonment and/or indignities. Divorce cases range from the simple and uncontested to the complex.

Child Custody - The Process of Obtaining Custody of Your Children
Fighting for the custody of your children is not only heart-wrenching but can have life-long effects on the well-being of your children. There are two types of custody. Physical custody is the actual physical possession and control of a child (a person under 18 years old). It refers to the person with whom the child lives, either all of the time or part of the time. Legal custody is the right to make major decisions about the child, which typically include educational, religious, and medical decisions.

No Fault Divorce
Ending a marriage can be a confusing and emotionally wrenching process, involving many difficult decisions. Most divorces are "no-fault" divorces, meaning the grounds are irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. You do not need a reason to get divorced under the “no-fault” statute. The alte ative to “no-fault” divorce is to claim fault grounds, such as adultery, cruel and inhuman treatment, personal indignities or other fault-based grounds that must be proven in court. Fault grounds can be costly and frequently difficult to prove in court.

PENNSYLVANIA DRIVER'S LICENSE SUSPENSIONS and D.U.I. Cases
Pennsylvania DUI driver's license suspensions are handled by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (Pe Dot).
