Suzanne Molino Singleton is the creator and writer of the weekly SNIPPETS, an inspirational think-out-loud e-column for women (www.SNIPPETSinspiration.com) creating it in February 2006 as an outlet for reflections on life's lessons. It is a not-for-profit column and remains ad-free. SNIPPETS empowers, encourages, validates, and inspires women around the globe through reflection, anecdotes, lessons, quips, humor, standing ovations, and more ... reminding them they deserve more than what they allow themselves; that it's important to take time to practice simple pleasures; and to utilize their greatest support system: girlfriends.

She posts snippets of inspiration also on www.examiner.com as Baltimore's InspirationalExaminer, and writes two other columns: on www.SmartWomanOnline.com; and for the NY Yankees' www.yesnetwork.com in a column called "Mrs. Singy: Married to Baseball." Her husband Ken Singleton is a former Baltimore Orioleand current TV broadcaster for the Yankees.

Suzanne wrote for The Catholic Review newspaper between 2005-2009, and has been freelance writing and editing since 1995. She resides in Baltimore County, Maryland, where she enjoys cycling through the country, raising her kids, and a great group of girlfriends.

What does it mean to be a conscious human being? This isn’t exactly the opposite of being unconscious as in BAM! - someone knocks you out - but almost. The best parallel I can think of is kids - such oblivious little mortals. They will step on your foot without knowing it, butt in front of you ...

Dare women who are moms and wives admit they don't think about sex often nor take the time to make sure it happens? Dare they confess that by the time they leave work, run three errands, slap dinner on the table, straighten the house, prepare details for the next day, check e-mail, pay bills, ...
