At the age of 59 years, after practicing Reiki for the last 15 years, I still belong to the category of Reiki Student. Thus the Reiki Student 'Expert' headline above.

I suppose I could contribute my interests in healing and metaphysics/spirituality to many incidents in my life. One of the first would be reading a book about Yoga and Reinca ation by Jess Stea when I was in the 7th grade. That was quite a few years ago.

At the age of 21, I had a profound out of body experience after a meditation in which I realized that there is no such thing as death. Meditation continued to be an important part of my life and in 2006 I had another profound experience. This time it was facilitated in the dream state. I was 'introduced' to Reiki in a dream. I actually received a Reiki treatment from several beings during a dream. Upon awakening, I knew that I had to discover a way to tap into that experience in the waking state.

That was in January of 1996 and that is where my Reiki journey began. It's been a wonderful 15 years since my first Reiki class. Teaching since 1997, I have had the opportunity to share Reiki with many people from all walks of life, both professionals as well as laymen.

Reiki has been and continues to be a major contribution to the joy and health in my own personal life. I love teaching more than anything else in the world. What a great priveledge and honor to share this healing modality with others.
