Shortly after retiring in 1995 from the company he founded, Tiger Todd found himself - literally and figuratively - at an inner city park in Las Vegas surrounded by 1800 homeless people. His only reason for being there was to make sure the money he had donated to local charities was making a difference in the lives of those who could not - or would not - help themselves. The homeless were being fed, but they were still homeless. It was on that day Tiger Todd began renting hundreds of chairs each week and inviting the homeless to attend his ad hoc "life strategies" class in the park. In just three years, over 9,000 homeless people had changed from homeless people into citizens because they had learned how to be something else.
Today, Tiger Todd is the President and CEO of Heroes Incorporated, a company dedicated to helping people in every strata of society become free to “live the lives they were meant to live.” Since 1995, Tiger has motivated thousands of individuals to form connections of communication, continuous learning, and corporate respect. Whether between citizens and society, teenagers and adults, students and their teachers, employees and management, or corporate boards and their stakeholders, Tiger always finds a way to motivate people to move past their differences and move on toward their goals.
Tiger is widely considered the categorical expert in sparking self-actualization and personal change in the broadest spectrum of individuals, having motivated myriad groups comprising teenagers, homeless people, college students, executives, entrepreneurs, and employees through his Hero School® model and brain-bending speaking engagements. Since 1995, he has helped transform over 10,000 homeless men and women into self-sufficient members of society by motivating and then teaching them how to take control of their inner powers and overcome their difficult circumstances. In survey after survey, over 90% of every group Tiger Todd speaks to is motivated to take responsibility, control, and action in their lives.
Prior to becoming a motivator and author, Tiger gained over 20 years experience in the electronics industry, designing and troubleshooting sound systems through the electronic business he founded. An undergraduate education at Whitman College with majors in math and physics and a minor in music and vocal performance was supplemented by a Social Science degree with specializations in Education, Psychology, and Sociology at Regis University. Tiger is still involved in three corporations and the charitable organization he founded, while he continues to produce and perform his Hero School® Programs and Motivational keynotes nationally.
Tiger Todd's passion for motivating holistic character and social change in those who cannot help themselves is evidenced by his weekly pro bono classes for homeless and displaced men for Catholic Charities, financial management classes for homeless and Foster Care youth, and motivational assemblies for middle and junior high school students. Look for his latest book, Uncommon Sense, due in bookstores this Fall.
