Serious congenital heart disease affects approx. 1 baby in every 250.

In the UK, where we are based, this means that about 2,500 babies are affected every year and, for most of these babies and their families, this is unexpected.

We are working locally and nationally to increase prenatal detection, diagnosis and care.

By improving the care of babies and their families before they are born, we hope that these babies will have a better start in life.
