Why Women Like Pink?
Pink is a Fake! Because it does not appear on the colour spectrum! The word pink was first used to describe colour in the 1600's to name the light red flowers in the dianthus family as 'pinks' a close relative of carnations. However, light red is not pink as pink has a bit less green in the colour mix, pink is a fake or more commonly called a combined colour incorporating two different wavelengths of light from the colour spectrum that the receptor cones in our eyes perceive as one colour.

How to get started
Colour Therapy
- It only takes a few minutes to understand how colour therapy can bring about positive change in your life, or simply help you through the stresses of the day.
What is Colour Counselling?
- When people are stressed or go through a traumatic life event people sometimes seek a therapist to help them through their difficulties, such events may also have a detrimental effect on their well-being that can result in seeking medical advice or treatment.
- Colour counselling is about advising the client on the use of colour therapy as a practical way of assisting the natural healing process. Colour therapy is a self help therapy and a recognised form of complementary medicine that combines colour psychology and spiritual healing. It is good for stress related conditions, where a positive frame of mind is needed to combat illness, or help make a full recovery from a physical illness. Once you are able to resolve the stresses in your life the resulting psychosomatic symptoms will dissappear.
Ecotherapy and Colour Therapy
- The basis for combining these two therapies is that while we are highly evolved animals we still respond to the colours in nature in an instinctive way the same as other species. Generally, this instinct is based upon the need to look and feel good in order to attract a mate, it also relates to the need for sunlight to regulate our body clock; we need to connect with nature to keep fit and healthy.
The New Age
- The term New Age refers to the coming astrological New Age of Aquarius. What is referred to as the new age movement, religion or church rejects conventional dogma and combines aspects of spirituality and spiritual growth including spiritual healing, crystals, astral projection, meditation, artists, psychics, mediums, clairvoyants, divination and tarot readings, the mystical and paranormal, alte ative and complementary medicine, the environment, music, the metaphysical, and various spiritualist or religious practices including wicca and paganism in diverse societies around the world.
