Trish Lay is the Founder and Creator of Souls at Play Productions. She has been coaching and motivating people to make changes in their life for over 20 years and has written several articles on harmony through conflict and finding your authentic self. She created Souls at Play Productions as a multi-faceted company with continued growth in mind. Souls at Play is now a full service outlet promoting individuals in the areas of: Acting, Coaching, Writing, Public Speaking, and Teaching. She utilizes her coaching style to manage those who choose to follow their passion and seek fulfillment through their work.
Adopted into a family in Denver, Colorado, Trish spent her life curious to why she is here. Being adopted, there was always the question of "Who am I?" As she got older it turned into "What is life’s purpose for me?" Struggling to find meaning to her life, she encountered numerous relationships that challenged her self-worth and motivation to feel like she fit in. She moved to Los Angeles to do stand-up comedy and acting where she thought her passion lied. For several years she worked behind the scenes for top talent agencies and decided it was too destructive to the human psyche and took a leap of faith and walked out of the Entertainment Industry. As it would turn out, several years later she would be approached to re-enter the realm of Entertainment once again through Management. This time, she would enter on her own terms and create her own personal path.
Trish’s unique approach draws from her many life experiences. With her extensive background in human behavior and her 20+ years of experience working with high-level executives of major corporations and within the Entertainment Industry, she combines the complex disciplines that directly affect a person’s lifestyle and transformed them into a creative and powerful coaching and management style.
Trish utilizes her personal passion and unique character qualities as a public speaker regarding Self Value, Limiting Beliefs, and Post Adoption Awareness and Education; facilitating several Adoption related assemblies and events.
The LAUGHING WARRIOR was created to help facilitate positive change in others, focusing on leading individuals through various improvisational exercises breaking down the limiting beliefs absorbed over the years and motivating the individual to take risks. Fear less - live more - laugh more. Discovering the loving authentic self within and letting go of past negative thought patterns; turning the once scared, into warriors of change.
Trish has survived her life because of her specific talents and gifts: a sense of humor and the ability to truly listen to others and respond with sincere simple intelligence, inner wisdom, a great awareness of compassion and divine guidance by a power greater than anything any one person could ever try to explain.

When I was three years old, my adoptive mother was holding me as we stood in line at the grocery store. A gentleman in front of us turned and said what a pretty little girl I was…I then replied with, “no I’m not…I’m adopted.” Being adopted weighed on my shoulders for decades. Rejection and abandonment coursed through my veins. My adopted fathers’ rejection…and the words “if you don’t behave yourself, we’ll take you back and get another baby...” haunted my core being.

When Friends Die
For me it started several years ago with a phone call. My childhood best friend was killed in a car accident due to her own alcohol and drugs issues. I had spoken to her several months earlier for the first time in many years and didn’t realize she had such a bad addiction. Her twin boys had just been born and her son [4] was healthy and happy. Faith, Belief and Knowing
In every great book there are countless stories of men and women who had great purpose and high ideals; they worked toward and reached incredible goals. Time after time these people came up against obstacles or circumstances that would destroy the average person. These people would find themselves in situations that appeared devastating – they might have lost fortunes, loved ones or possibly had to battle some great physical problem but they never appeared to waiver; it seemed as if nothing could stop them.
You very likely can think of a number of people you know personally or know of, who might be Giants when it comes to producing in your industry.
The record of history in sports is filled with great examples.
What made these people Great was their Belief or Faith – it was unshakable. No one and nothing could disturb or destroy their Faith.
It could very easily appear as if some emotional or capricious God has singled out, reached out and touched these individuals and caused them to do such great things.
Everyone, including YOU, has been touched, blessed, endowed with the tools. You must develop a belief or faith based on understanding, just as these people did for themselves. Their faith was not blind, the blind that is easily shattered like fine crystal with the first knock that comes along. Their faith had a strong foundation based on understanding.
These people are often referred to as being in the spirit and it is not difficult for them to Believe or have Faith, because they KNOW. They know they can do whatever they visualize. They know they are a dynamic, creative being. They choose the vision and they let God do the work, with and through them.
