Trudy Opitz, PhD

During the past thirty years Trudy Opitz, Ph.D. has been an educater, mathematiciam, group facilitator, self esteem coach, social activist, and psychotherapist. Since 1991 Trudy has taught the Avatar course nationally and internationally. She was also a member of a team of consultants with the Leadership Academy of the state of Missouri, and has presented workshops at regional conferences of Toastmasters International.

A seasoned traveller, Trudy delivered the first Avatar course in Moscow and was a presenter at the 4th Annual International Conflict Resolution conference in St. Petersburg, Russia. She also introduced the Avatar course to Kenya and Pakistan.

Trudy enjoys living, being and playing in the SanFrancisco Bay Area with her two daughters and three grandsons.
