While I began my executive coaching career in 2003, I have over 31 years of experience in leading a range of companies and participating effectively in teams. Adventures in business include working as a controller in manufacturing; president and owner of a private fiduciary company established to manage conservatorships, guardianships, trusts and estates; and most recently, managing director for a large trust division in a national bank.
In 2005, I established the Itafari Foundation with two incredible women who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Together we have created a non-profit organization to assist the survivors of the genocide in Rwanda. This is being done in many ways, including donations to organizations and individuals in Rwanda and by inspiring the women and children to have hope and to realize their empowerment to rebuild better lives.
Entrepreneur, team leader, team player, sales trainer, consultant, speaker, board member, and auditor — all are titles I've held over the years, giving me valuable and varied experiences as a leader who is followed.
I received a B.S. in Business from Indiana University. Specialized training as a coach is received from Coach University and Dream Coach University. These trainings consist of over 280 hours of course work, coaching and ongoing education.
Certification from Organization Systems International to employ the Polaris™ Competency Model and 360° Survey.
I bring to coaching an unquenchable desire to see people become their personal best, a background broad in experiences, and a focus and energy enabling people to reach their greatest heights.

Making the Leap from Corporate to Entrepreneurship
At the end of June 2003, I chose to leave a very secure job in banking to start over as an executive coach. Although I’d been in business for myself prior to joining the bank, it had been almost five years. During my time there, I had the privilege of working with a great team that cared deeply for their clients and believed in the direction we were heading. But it wasn’t enough for me, and I knew it was time to become a full-time executive coach.
