Bill completed work on a Master of Science in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at UNC Chapel Hill in 1999, and is recognized by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
He was principal investigator in a study of stress management following coronary angioplasty, which achieved significant reductions in distress and anger in the treatment group, while the comparison group was unchanged.
Bill uses a combination of conventional and complementary techniques to treat wellness conce s. His goal is to help people find ways to live their lives with enthusiasm, ease and grace, by working in a holistic way to restore balance.

Spectator or Participant?
Of course, we are all participants in our own lives. But sometimes we live life from a distance, watching it go by without making any vigorous moves to keep from getting stuck, or to reach a goal that requires some extra effort. It is almost like we are a spectator of our own lives, just thinking or talking about ourselves, but not being aware of the physical connection to our issues. To be a full participant in our lives, we need to include the body. There is a physical root to most conce s, even if they may seem to be mostly on the emotional, mental, or spiritual level.
