Zaid Mohamad is a Malaysian father of four wonderful kids, a senior manager of a multinational corporation, a Chairman of a Parents-Teachers Association and a Certified Parental Coach by Coach-Parenting ™ USA.
He strongly believes in the analogy that children are like the white canvas and the parents are the artist. He has developed his own parenting strategies called the “7L” Strategies of Love, Limits, Learning Smart, Leadership, Leisure, Lend a Hand and Leaving it to God.
Zaid is the bestselling author of Smart Parents, Brighter Kids and Smart Parents, Richer Kids and writes for weekly column in The New Sunday Times. He also co-host a weekly radio show called “Building Happy Homes” on BFM89.9 radio station. He regularly features on Malaysian televisions and newspapers for parenting issues.

Life Lessons from the Butterfly in the Window
As I was looking outside to enjoy the morning view, my eyes caught a sight of a butterfly trying desperately to escape through the glass door. It flew from left to right, up and down and then went back to the left again. Of course, it was making no progress at all despite all the efforts. The irony is, there was a large opening just a few inches to the right! The opening was darker than the window because it was covered with a blind that were tilted downwards to reduce the sunlight coming in.
