Zen Benefiel is a multi-master's degreed author, coach, consultant, educator, facilitator, minister and performer with a passion for education and facilitation, a true 'possibilities coagulator.' He engages collaborative alliances that lead to dynamic partnerships and successful projects in social architecture to benefit the community and world at large.
Zen had a near death experience as a teenager during a meditation after praying to know what truth is, willing to give up my life if necessary. He literally went into the 'Light' for several moments and then beyond for a few more. Imagine the challenge he has had articulating understanding from that experience, let alone applying it in life on a day-to-day basis.
It took him decades - time in a psyche ward and recovery from Thorazine, a marriage, children, divorce, grandchildren, facilitating discussion groups, intimate relationships, a self-discovery television show, degrees in Business, ministerial ordination and many accomplishments in a variety of industries - to realize he truly has something valuable to share in helping others transform into happier and fulfilling lifestyles.
Everything we need to affect change in our lives is within us already, we just have to ask better questions and listen more deeply for the answers. If you are ready to listen to yourself, we've got a chance. Every question has an answer. Are we asking the right ones?

Transformational Lifestyle
At the risk of appearing really off the wall, I'd like to express some considerations that you may share as well. It has been several decades since I first started inquiring deeper within the constructs of reality, seeking congruence of belief systems and daily living. I’ve shucked the belief systems in favor of ‘experience systems’ that offer more congruence. What is Truth?
What is truth? Is it objective, subjective, all inclusive or mutually exclusive? Does it apply even when we deny it? Do we have the capacity to know it with our senses? Are we greater beings under limitations of modern science and spirituality? How about cosmic truth? Are we alone or preparing for a family reunion? Treat this work as fiction and don’t believe a word as it is a delicate weave of direct experience and postulations at best. Past Life w/ Future Possibilities
The 26,000 year Tzolkin recycles in 2012. There are some personal connections to that within a past life regressio I did in 1989. I’ve been open to these things but always had a skeptical eye open just to keep observant and a bit cautious of getting lost in it all. After all, we do live in the here and now, although there are some curious connections to our soul path at least. If you are open to those kinds of things, that is. For a time I studied with a group that used William Swygaard's methods for regression into past lives.

"How do we qualify information as it enters our 'field' ?" The resonance of truth varies depending on our ability to be aware at deeper levels. We have a 'field' that surrounds us, a kind of 'spidey sense' that we often neglect. How do we 'vet' the information and people providing it so that the quality is there; so that sense is made common? We've heard about the notion of 'questioning authority' yet the authority we question often has bias in our questions. The solution is to ask better questions, those questions that arise naturally from our gut feelings.
