Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death among people throughout the world. The main danger of these diseases is that they may be symptomless. And sometimes it’s hard to indicate any sign of heart diseases. Here is a list of symptoms that may be signs of heart problems: Chest Pain Chest pain is the most common symptom of heart diseases. If you feel chest pain or sensation of pressure you should go to see a cardiologist. Specialists say that everyone describes this discomfort differently, some feel burning in the chest, others feel increased pressure. The sensation may continue for more than a few minutes, it may occur even when you’re resting. Nausea, Heartburn, Upset Stomach, and Stomachache Nausea, stomachache, heartbu , and upset stomach in some people may indicate heart diseases. And in most cases, these symptoms occur in women. Of course, an upset stomach may be not related to heart problems, but if you’re at risk - you better go to a doctor. Pain Radiating to the Hand It’s another classic sign. If the pain begins in the chest and spreads on the left part of the body, radiating to the hand - it’s probably an exacerbation of heart disease. And sometimes the hand may hurt more than the chest. Dizziness A lot of things may provoke dizziness, for example, you didn’t eat or drink enough water, or maybe you stood up too fast. But dizziness coupled with other symptoms may indicate that your heart is not pumping enough blood throughout the body. Sore Throat or Pain in the Jaw Such pain in itself could mean anything - for example, it may occur in the cases of the flu. But if chest pain spreads to the throat - you should also visit a cardiologist. Fatigue If you get tired very easily or you always get winded after the simplest movements, you should immediately visit a doctor. These symptoms may be very tangible. If you don’t know why you always feel tired without any reason, you better check your heart. Snoring If the snore is not hard, it’s normal. But if it’s hard, it may be a sign of trouble breathing which negatively affects the function of the heart. Cold Sweat If you are suddenly covered in a cold sweat and noticed any of the above symptoms - you should immediately call a doctor, don’t risk to go to the doctor on your own. It may be symptoms of infarction. The continuing cough may signal that the lungs aren’t getting enough blood. Swelling in the Legs If the heart is not pumping enough blood it may lead to congestion of the blood in the leg veins, as a result, the legs get swollen. Besides, in cases of heart failure, the kidneys don’t function as well which may also lead to swelling in the legs. Arrhythmia The heart may change its own rhythm even if you’re not nervous at the moment, but if it lasts longer than a few seconds or happens too often - you should tell the cardiologist about it.
