Yep ! I'm serious.

If you sit on the couch, you won't make mistakes. Well, sitting on the couch doing nothing is a mistake, but I won't get into that.

No matter how careful you are, how much thinking you have done, how much time you put into searching for facts, you will make mistakes. Maybe not today, nor tomorrow. Or in the next six months.

But, there will come a moment, you'll be tired, or you will rely on a source of information said to be bullet-proof, and you'll discover no such thing exists.

Some people will tell you : "I rely on such and such", or "I never make mistakes".

Ask them what level of success they've reached.

The ones who are highly successful simply have tried harder. They dared come out of their comfort zone.

As their comfort zone expanded, they kept blowing up the new thicker brick walls it put around them.

At the beginning, they used a spoon to try and pierce the wall.

Then, when they saw the outside world didn't notice or care, they started using a sledgehammer.

That got attention, not just positive. In fact, feedback came more from naysayers, status quo experts, know it alls, been there done that people who believe they know better than you what should be done. Or worse, their harsh words is their pride hiding their fear of doing the same as you, cause they believe it will hurt their reputation.

They ignored the people who wanted to put them down. Mistakes were made along the way. To their surprise, real friends encouraged them to correct course and move on.

After a time, they reached a point when their self-confidence helped them become a tank ( the ones that can crush houses ). No reasonable obstacle could withstand them.

The most awesome discovery was the peace of mind they felt as each day was more exciting than the previous one.

Of course, there were moments of doubt. Discouragement showed its head. The support network now surrounding them came in handy to check their perception of a situation, to disce
right from wrong.

Sometimes, a short break was the remedy to put things in their proper perspective.

I can assure you, you can become a tank. Your cannon will shoot shells of happiness.

Life is wonderful. To keep it that way, make sure you are a nice, polite, humble tank. :)

About the Author

I'm in Internet Marketing full time.

I'm building my online business around personal development.

I have read hundreds of success and self-help books during the past 26 years. I'm 46.

I'm Catholic. I ask for the Holy Spirit's help in everything I do. However, I understand that there are different views about spirituality and religion. My goal is not to impose my views. I try to find happiness in my daily life and wish to share my discoveries with other people while learning from them, too. A true win-win situation, IMHO.

I've successfully built many strong relationships in the past 5 months with other marketers. When I see something I don't like, either related to personality, attitude, or deeds, I never take it personally. At the end of the day, it's rarely personal.
