As we age, we often lose our self-confidence and think that we are no longer desirable to the opposite sex. Years ago procedures often involved extensive surgery with major downtime. Flash forward to 2015, and it seems that the sky is the limit when it comes to maintaining and improving our physical appearance without the downtime and high-risk involved with major plastic surgery. There are many different minimally-invasive plastic surgery treatments that require no downtime and achieve the results that we all desire. Fillers As we age gravity takes its toll and, unfortunately, the results can be shown on our face. We lose volume under our eyes and in our cheek area, which can make us look tired and gaunt. With modern dermal fillers you can restore the volume, which not only makes you looker younger, but more refreshed and youthful. With the numerous types of dermal fillers on the market today, it is possible to recapture that youthful glow and taunt skin you used to have. This type of procedure is often associated with Botox and can do wonders for those pesky frown lines in your forehead. Nobody needs to know that you had this done as it can be performed very quickly with results that can be seen in the blink of an eye. Additionally, dermal fillers, like Botox, work wonders on the lines around the mouth and in the nasolabial folds. Peels Turning back the clock is quite simple since we are able to virtually erase the damage derived from too much sunbathing. There are many different types of lasers and chemical peels available today that smooth and firm our skin as well as erase the effects of lasting sun damage. These procedures range in various strengths and results, but whatever solution you are looking for can be found with this method. Liposuction Even with exercise and a healthy diet, many of us still are victim to unsightly cellulite. You know, that cottage-cheese appearance that appears primarily on your thighs. With minimally-invasive liposuction, you can erase those pesky dimples once and for all with very minimal downtime. Threadlifts Gone are the days of intensive painful facelifts. Now you are able to have this procedure done in less than 30 minutes in the comfort of your cosmetic surgeon's office on your lunch hour. This simple surgery is performed with a local anesthetic and the results are phenomenal. Nobody but you and your physician will know. Threadlifts involve the insertion of a very thin needle being inserted at certain pre-marked locations and then a hypoallergenic string being gently threaded through and pulled tight to lift and rejuvenate the mid to lower face, as well as the neck area. The results last for about a year and can easily be redone. The results can be seen immediately and are generally preferred to facelifts. Blepharoplasty Invasive eyelid surgeries are things of the past. With modern blepharoplasty you can lift and reposition sagging upper eyelids or correct droopy lower eyelids. These procedures are minimally invasive that can be performed in the office of many plastic surgeons in SLC under local or monitored anesthesia. Otherwise known as a skin pinch, a mini face lift involves removing only a small pinch of skin to help tighten up redundant skin. Laser blepharoplasties also help to smooth and tighten skin. When lasers are used to conjunction with a skin pinch, the results are a refreshed look that gets you noticed. When our looks start to fade, we can lose that self-confidence we used to possess. The good news is that with minimally-invasive procedures, we can restore what we have lost and regain our confidence and self-esteem we once had.
