What Is Gratitude?
Loosely defined, gratitude is the feeling of appreciation and thankfulness for all the blessings and acts of kindness that you have received in your life. As we cultivate a grateful attitude, we are more likely to be happy and successful. Taking time to be grateful and appreciate the uncountable blessings that you already have is vital for your happiness, inner peace and success.

When you constantly and consciously learn to utilize the power of gratitude, you attract to yourself the success and happiness that you desire, aspire toward and deserve to experience. Grateful individuals are happy, satisfied with the content and direction of their lives, and are under no obligation or pressure to strive for more. As you proceed through life, learn to find your joys in the simplest everyday happenings and success will follow you.

Thankfully, adopting a gratitude attitude is easy. You attract opportunity to yourself, first by having positive thoughts about what you desire but more fundamentally; opportunities are created when one feels good about you. How do you make someone to feel good about you? It is simple. Just let him or her know that you appreciate how his or her efforts have helped you out.

Thus, the power that is inherent in expressing sincere gratitude is two-fold. For starters, you’ll learn to spot benefit where it might not have been cognizant to you before. In essence, it will give you a chance to be more proactive vis-à -vis seizing opportunities as they arise. Lastly, letting people who have been helpful to you along the way know that you appreciate their efforts will go a long way in reinforcing the existing energetic connection between yourself and those people who can help you realize success.

Expressing Gratitude—the Key to Success
If you want to be successful in life, begin being grateful and thankful for all the things that you have. Expressing gratitude is a crucial factor that can reshape and transform any negative life situation into the success that you desire. When you constantly and consciously exhibit gratitude thoughts, you fill the universe with vibrations of peace, love, happiness, prosperity and joy. Since the universal law of what you give you shall receive is infallible, you will attract and manifest the success that you deserve. Thus, it is important to be appreciative, thankful and to always express gratitude in every moment with everything in life, including circumstances that may feel negative, painful, or unfair.

Practicing Gratitude for a Successful Business
Expressing gratitude in your workplace will positively impact the growth of your business. All you need is a break from your busy routine to allow yourself to reflect on what you truly appreciate. Individuals who adopt an attitude of gratitude often find a greater sense of purpose in their work. Expressing gratitude will see you through rough times and motivate you to accomplish the goals and objectives of your business. The focus and determination that stem from adopting an attitude of gratitude will equip you with the desire and impetus to handle challenges and difficulties when and if they arise and move past them to realize success.
Wealth
When you choose to be grateful and see the glass as being half-full and not half-empty, you will begin to see and feel the abundance of water all around you. And when you attune your mind to abundance you will begin developing new breakthrough ideas and seeing the opportunity and potential all around you. Ultimately, your positive outlook towards life will change the way you talk, think and even interact with those around you. Since like attracts like, other grateful and positive minded individuals will notice the commonality and want to connect with you. And that is how you become wealthy and successful.

Health for Successr
For you to be successful, you need to be healthy and in a great shape. According to studies, expressing gratitude improves your overall well-being, abates negative emotions such as stress, fear, doubt, worry, depression, anxiety and helps curb a host of health complications closely associated with aforementioned emotions such as heart disease, immune system deficiencies, high blood pressure and stroke.

Conclusion
By taking sometime every day to recognize the good, positive elements present in life, you can re-train your mind and subconscious mind to be more positive. With discipline, gratitude will become a positive habit. And with constant practice, it will realize you more happiness, abundance, joy, well-being and ultimately success.

I received a text from a fellow motorcycle rider friend of mine, Joe, on Tuesday December 7th, 2010. Sadly, the message read a kid named Carlos with a GSXR 600 just died from running a stop sign at 17th and Hackberry in McAllen, Texas. Kid? Oh no! It is always awful when one of your fellow riders goes down and gets hurt, a tragedy when they die. When I read the words ‘kid’, my heart bled even more. The poor relatives and friends that have to survive through the insurmountable pain of losing a son, brother, nephew, or friend, well, I can’t even put into words.r
