As within, so without. The way you think about yourself is the way the world thinks about you. If you value yourself, the world values you. If you don’t value you yourself, you might find that money does not flow to you. If you ignore your needs, you may find people not paying attention to you, not giving you the credit you deserve. If you’re not sure how you feel about yourself, then people will reflect that back to you, having mixed feelings as well. Have you ever taken the time to notice this? It is amazing. And when you finally realize what’s going on, you take your power back. You stop blaming and get to work.
Here is a simple exercise I credit to Serge Kahili King, Ph.D., an amazing Huna teacher. It’s simple, but might be difficult to maintain; however it is well worth the effort if you do. It can be extremely transforming and also fun as you watch the world change as a result of your change within. I’ve been doing this exercise and it works amazingly well. I’m very happy to share it with you.
1. Start every morning with a personal review of all your good qualities, all the good things you’ve done, all the good things you plan to do. No faults, failures or mistakes. Just appreciate yourself.
2. End every day the same way. Review all the good things you did throughout the day, all the good qualities you expressed, all the good responses you had, all the good choices you made. Don’t think about what you could have done better or any mistakes. What’s important is what you think about what you did, not what you did. So, be appreciative and loving.
3. If you are having trouble with money flowing to you and self-worth, write yourself an imaginary check for everything you did that day, what you think your day was worth. If it was a great day, give yourself a bonus!
You will be amazed at how this can change your life. As you send loving, kind, appreciative energy to yourself, and go through your day with gratitude, very quickly you will see the signs that it is working! What a wonderful feeling and what a wonderful way to live your day! Try it and let us all know what happens!
