Are you that dot?

In his fascinating book Cosmos, Carl Sagan takes us to our childhood and throughout our lives mimicking the passage of time in the universe. The book made me wonder that, in time and space we are nothing but a dot.

Then I sat down to write a story for my grand daughter:

Once upon a time a dot got tired… it was all over the place: here, there, over there. So, a simple dot decided to do something different…

I know, I know. I’ll become a dent, a footprint of a dot, so no matter what a write would do, I’ll leave a mark.

and it worked…

wow! then I can probably stretch out and become and line, and here and there it tried and tried but yet, to become a line, the dot needed other dots…

come here, the dot said: let’s make a line.. and dots came from all over and some move South or North or East or West and Up and Down, and thus letters were forms and ideas and meaning.

and it all started with a single dot…

Are you that dot?
