With what appears to be going on in the world, it can be normal for someone to feel helpless and deflated. It can seem as though everything is getting worse and that there is nothing that can be done.

This can be what will take place is someone routinely consumes the mainstream media and even spends a fair amount of time using social media. Consequently, these two sources are going to have a massive effect on how they perceive the world.

Another Factor

Additionally, there can be what their friends and family say about what is going on. Most of what comes out of their mouth could be the same as what they hear from the aforementioned sources.

This could be seen as a sign that what they hear from these two sources is the truth; then again, it could just show that these people are plugged into the same sources as they are. If this is the case, they will all be trapped in a bubble; a bubble that sustains itself.

Doom and Gloom

When it comes to the mainstream media, this is a source that seldom gives a balanced view of what is taking place. But, as the main purpose of this source is to define how people perceive reality, is this really a surprise?

If this source was to give a more balanced view of the world, there is no doubt that there would still be problems that need to be dealt with. The difference is that it would be less likely for the average person to feel as though all hope is lost.

A Hopeless Place

Now, if a large part of humanity sees what is going on ‘out there’ as being something that is very much out of their control, there is going to be very little that they can do. They will hope that the people with all the power, the government, will do something about it.

There will be certain things that they can do such as change what they buy and how they live their life, but that will be about as far as it will go. Unlike in superhero films, there won’t be one person who can make everything better.

The Illusion of Separation

However, although it can seem as though what is going on ‘out there’ is very much out of humanity’s control, what if this isn’t the truth? What if what is going on exte
ally is a reflection of what is going on in people’s inner world?

If this is so, it would mean that the exte
al world is reflecting back what is taking place in the collective consciousness. What this would also mean is that while what is going on exte
ally is not ‘good’, it is giving humanity the chance to become aware of what they need to resolve inside themselves.

Just how it Works

To get a better idea of what is being said here; let’s take a look at how this plays out in someone’s individual life. Through having an ego-mind that has numerous defences, it is difficult for someone to become aware of something directly.

Thanks to their ego-minds need to avoid pleasure and to experience pain, they will lose touch with the parts of themselves that are too painful for them to face. By understating the defences that their mind uses, then, they will be able to find out what they need to face and to integrate.

Projection

One could find, for instance, that they continually come into contact with people that are angry. What this will probably show is that they have disconnected from their own anger and that this anger is being reflected back to them by others.

For quite some time, they may have believed that these people were nothing like them as they themselves never got angry. Perhaps they believed that it was wrong to get angry, hence why they had to hide their own anger from themselves

The Mirror

If it wasn’t for this defence, as well as others, it would be a lot harder for someone to become aware of the parts of themselves that have been pushed out of their conscious awareness. In the same way, if it wasn’t for what is going on ‘out there’, humanity wouldn’t be able to become aware of what they collectively need to resolve.

Ergo, instead of humanity getting caught up in what is going on exte
ally, it will be far more effective for them to use what is going on exte
ally to direct them to what they need to resolve internally. This will stop them from energetically feeding into the effects and allow them to deal with whatever it is inside them that has caused the effects to materialise.

A Build-Up

When it comes to what is being held in the collective consciousness that is shaping what is going on exte
ally, there will be the trauma that each person has experienced in this life, what has been passed down from their ancestors, and what they carry from any previous lives that they may have had. The inner baggage that each person is carrying will combine and create these exte
al issues.

It might be slightly idealistic to say that humanity as a whole will come together and heal their inner wounds. Still, it could also be said that this is not something that needs to happen in order for the world to truly change.

Final Thoughts

With this in mind, someone doesn’t mean to look towards anyone else to change the world; they can change themselves and by doing this, it will change their world and the planet as a whole. There is plenty of support available if one is unsure about how to go about healing their inner wounds.
