Being Proud; allowing yourself to be full of pride and pleased with your accomplishments goes a long way toward making yourself feel happy, uplifting your spirits and setting the stage for you to continue on with your journey toward your hopes and desires for living a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle.
As you take the time in your busy life to commend your friends and family for all their wonderful accomplishments, rewarding yourself with the same kind of banter and well wishes is also an extremely important habit to practice and foster. Acknowledging yourself as you do others makes you feel wonderful and assists your mind in steering you in a positive direction. More often than not we tend to neglect the fantastic things that we accomplish afraid of possibly sounding pompous or arrogant. On the contrary, sharing our uplifting accomplishments does wonders not only for you, but also lets others know that we are self-assured and confident. Here are some wonderful moments of gratification in the lives of Lovely Ladies.
Lovely Lady Proud Moves: ~I am proud of myself because I have found my willpower again. ~I am proud of myself because I took some time to relax after handling my to-do list. ~I am proud of myself because I walked the dog around the block; it’s been a while. ~I am proud of myself because I bought new undies and feel great. ~I am proud of myself because I now realize I can make mistakes and still try again. ~I am proud of myself because I am making a difference in my life. ~I am proud of myself because I completed a 15 mile bike ride in the rain. ~I am proud of myself because I have been working out on a regular basis. ~I am proud of myself because I can make changes in my life to make myself happy. ~I am proud of myself because I am learning to accept that the scale is not the only measure of success on my travels.
So the next time you make a move that creates a stir of pleasure and delight in you, share it. Honor yourself and feel the amazing results of what can happen when you take the time to salute your greatness as you do so often for others. Isn’t it your time to make a difference in your life? Isn’t it your moment to shine? Make it happen, create the change and reap the benefits.
